The Our Stories Podcast Series from HMO Wellness is proud to present a conversation with Dr. Gregory B. Lesinski, Ph.D., MPH. Prior to joining Emory, Dr. Lesinski worked at The Ohio State University. His research focuses on the interactions between the host immune system and tumor cells, including work on vaccines. In our podcast conversation, Dr. Lesinski shares his inspiration for working in science related to cancer care, as well as what motivates him daily in his work with various members of the Winship medical and research community. A long time Buckeye fan, Dr. Lesinski enjoys sharing his work with family and friends back in Ohio but has come to appreciate all Atlanta has to offer, including weather that allows for running with his dogs year-round. If you are coming into Building C, you can thank Dr. Lesinski for volunteering his time doing temperature screens, something he does willingly given his appreciation for all the “superheroes” health care workers in the “trenches.”
